Latex Mattress Factory FAQ
What are your mattresses made of?
Our mattresses are made from 100% natural latex and covered with organic cotton or bamboo fabrics. We use certified organic and eco-friendly materials for comfort and durability.
What is natural latex?
Natural latex is a sustainable material derived from rubber tree sap. It’s durable, breathable, and hypoallergenic—ideal for a healthier, longer-lasting mattress.
What’s the difference between Dunlop and Talalay latex?
Dunlop latex is denser and firmer, while Talalay is softer and more breathable. We primarily use organic Dunlop latex for its supportive, eco-conscious qualities.
Are your latex mattresses organic?
Yes! We offer mattresses made with GOLS-certified organic latex and GOTS-certified organic cotton covers.
Are your mattresses customizable?
Absolutely. You can choose your preferred firmness for each layer, and even combine different firmness levels to create your ideal feel.
Are your products certified?
Yes, we use materials certified by GOLS, GOTS, and OEKO-TEX® for safety, sustainability, and quality.
Are your mattresses hypoallergenic?
Yes. Natural latex is naturally resistant to dust mites, mold, and bacteria, making it great for allergy sufferers.
Do your mattresses sleep hot?
Not at all. Latex is naturally breathable, and our organic cotton and bamboo covers help regulate temperature for cool, comfortable sleep.
What’s the weight limit for your mattresses?
Our latex mattresses are built to support up to 600 lbs per side without sagging or losing structure.
What sizes are available?
We offer all standard sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King. Custom sizes are available upon request.

Our most popular setup is 10", but you can build your mattress to be anywhere from 7" to 13", depending on how many layers you choose.
Do I need a special foundation or base?
Our mattresses work on most foundations, including platform beds, slatted frames, and adjustable bases. Just ensure the slats are no more than 3" apart.
Can I use an adjustable base?
Yes! All our mattresses are compatible with adjustable bases, including our own incline and zero-gravity models.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 5–10 business days, depending on your customization and location.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free shipping within the contiguous U.S.. Additional shipping fees may apply for Alaska, Hawaii, or international orders.
Will I need help setting it up?
Our mattresses are delivered compressed in multiple boxes for easier handling. While most people set it up on their own, having a second person can help.
